Yes. It is the expectation that all students are in uniform on the first day of school unless written permission has been given from building leadership.

Yes, we do. ORA elementary and middle school students qualify to receive school-bus service pending a signed agreement. Spots are limited and are given on a first come, first serve basis. High School students in need have the option of free DDOT bus cards.

Yes, we offer free breakfast and lunch to all of our students. You can check out our District Menus page to see what meals are offered to the students. 

School starts at 7:40. Any student arriving after 8:00 is required to have a parent sign them in so we can ensure the parent is aware of the vast time gap and tardiness. If the parent/guardian is unavailable to physically sign in, they can call the main office to verify. 

The MiStar Parent Portal is our system giving you access to student grades and other important information. It also allows you to make updates to some student information.

Once your students' application and documents have been reviewed you will receive an email indicating they have been accepted. If there are any issues, an email will be sent advising next steps necessary to complete enrollment. Email: info@oradistrict.org for more information. 

Generally, there is a transcript request form that needs to be filled out and turned in to the building counselor. The turnaround time is 24 to 72 hours. There is a free website, Parchment.com, where you can submit your request and the transcript will be mailed or emailed to you. 

You can also contact the high school counselors if further assistance is needed. 

Yes. The ORA logo patch is part of the uniform and is required on all uniform tops. Both old and new ORA Patches are acceptable for the 2024-25 school year. 

Yes, your child can wear any color gym shoes or loafers. No sandals, crocs, open toes or open back, houseshoes or boots.  

Yes, we offer multiple extracurricular and athletic programs district-wide.
